freelance medical artist/illustrator

Education: Interlochen Arts Academy, Rhode Island School of Design (BFA) and finally University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center for a MA in Medical Illustration.  

Career:  Medical illustrator/animator for the Mayo Clinic for two years and then a freelance illustrator from Nashville, TN for the past 25+ years.   My clients range from small non-profits to world-class academic institutions, from start-ups to large-scale pharmaceuticals.  I have created images for university textbooks, academic journals, pharmaceutical advertisements, patient care material, IFUs for surgical tools, animations to boost capital in biomedical start-ups, and innovative cellular images and medical legal trial posters.

Today:  I have been working as a freelance illustrator for 25+ years working in Nashville, TN, however, most of my clients are from other parts of the world.   If you haven't been to Nashville,  please visit.  It is a welcoming city full of artists, musicians, and good people.
